Hello Parents!
I cannot believe we are almost to December! I hope you all had a wonderful, hopefully relaxing break. We are going to be starting a few service learning projects soon and I will need parent volunteers! Keep an eye out for details and a sign up sheet Reminders and New things: 1. I understand many viruses are going around and staying healthy enough to be at school every day is especially hard! However, please try and make sure your child is at school every day if they are feeling well. They miss a great deal of important content when they are gone and fall behind very quickly. 2. If you are going on a vacation, you need to fill out a vacation form with the office. We strongly recommend only taking vacations when there are school breaks. 3.The reading log is graded, I have many students who have not been turning in their reading logs. Please ensure you are reading with your child for 20 minutes every night. This is incredibly important for the success of your child! 4. I will be starting to send home a "spiral review" of the things we have learned so far, this worksheet will be send home on Monday's and is due on Friday's for 5 points. There are 4 problems to do each night. This page is double sided, you only need to do one side, the other side is just for extra practice if your child wants to do it.
